Again, many states have enacted laws concerning cellphones and distracted driving and the numbers I've found say that legislature is doing little to curb the problem. I'm starting to think that a small fine isn't going to stop the problem. Maybe the problem is society's need to be connected all the time. With society demands to not let a moment go wasted maybe driving is the closest thing to idle time. the only time people have a chance to socially interact may be driving. I know I think about who I can call when I get in the car and how long I'll have to talk to them. People need to have relationships and for me, time for catching up between school work and kids is during the commute.
